The last season of HBO‘s Game of Thrones ended with an epic “Holy Crap” moment for character Jon Snow (Kit Harington), commander of the Night’s Watch. Well, Game of Thrones fans have been using the time since that stabby scene to come up with all kinds of ways that Jon Snow might come back. The only thing we didn’t know was if Kit Harington would be back for more new material. He’s been pretty coy about the whole thing… until now.
Recently, while promoting his new movie Testament of Youth, Harington fielded a question about Game of Thrones and perhaps he went a little too far in explaining?
…I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime –
Of course that sparked the follow up question: How many more seasons would that be?
Nice try [laughs]. I can’t talk about that. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects [laughs].
A quick Google search and we know that Harington is 28… so adding one and one means more Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. how do you think his character will come back from the Night’s Watch stabby stabbing?
